Nora Fleming minis: compatibility & care FAQ

Will this mini fit my Nora Fleming base?
Nora Fleming minis are designed to fit Nora Fleming base pieces that have a mini hole, from platters and trays to canisters, so one base works for every occasion. Not sure a piece you own has a mini hole? Send us a photo and we'll help you confirm the fit.

How do I attach or swap a mini?
Dab the hole with a little water, insert the mini's stem from the top, then pull the stem through from underneath until it sits snug. To remove, push the stem up from below and ease the mini out with a gentle twist.

How big are minis? How do I confirm a fit?
Minis are small hand-painted figurines, and each design varies a little in size. Have a pairing in mind? Message us and we'll confirm the fit before you buy.

How can I use minis for parties and display?
One base, endless occasions: swap minis to style the same piece for holidays, birthdays, game days, and showers, or leave a favorite out on the counter between gatherings. Keep extra minis safe and on display in a Nora Fleming keepsake box.

How do I care for minis and bases?
Hand wash minis in warm, soapy water; they are not dishwasher safe. Stoneware bases are microwave and dishwasher safe. Melamine bases are dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. Maple bases should be washed quickly in warm, soapy water (no microwave or dishwasher) and kept looking their best with an occasional rub of mineral oil.
